James and Alison Paterson have worked in the cleaning industry for most of their working lives. James has an industrial cleaning background having worked in food factories and Alison has cleaned in schools and had a number of domestic cleaning jobs. in 2012 when James was made redundant they decided to go into business together and Ayrshire Cleaners was born.
